Getting Started

When you first run Outlook after installing Clout, the Clout toolbar will float as a separate toolbar window:

You can drag the toolbar anywhere you like on-screen by clicking and dragging the top bar. If you drag the toolbar near the main Outlook menu, you can 'dock' the toolbar along with the others:

Once docked (if you prefer it that way) you can drag the toolbar around by clicking and dragging on the small dots at the left of the toolbar.

The following table shows what each area of the toolbar is for:

Control Function
Command Wizard button Run the Command Wizard to help you learn the various ways to structure your Clout commands.
Command Line entry The command box. Enter your command here and press <Return> or <Enter> to process the command. To learn about command formats, try the Command Wizard or look at our Command Format help page.
Options button Click to open the Options dialog box. You can set several preferences that change the way that Clout will work for you. You can also enter your purchased License details here to leave the Demo mode (see Buying a License).
Help Drop-down menu button Click to see the Help drop-down menu, which offers a route to this help file, information on Clout etc.
